Michael Duvall Resigns

Ken and John will be celebrating today. Mike Duvall (R-Loma Linda) has resigned after being caught on tape bragging about kinky sex with two lobbyists. One woman was 19 years younger than the 54-year-old Assemblyman. He was taped during a July Appropriations committee meeting in Sacramento on an open mic.

According to sources, the women Duvall is referring to are both married and both lobbyists in Sacramento. One works for a firm, which represents utility companies.

Duvall is married with two adult children.

Duvall was one of the "Heads on a Stick" to be defeated in upcoming election for their betrayal of election promises. Abel Maldonado, who was quoted in a MediaNews story saying he could potentially vote for tax hikes to balance the budget.)"

UPDATE: Duvall denies his resignation is admission of an affair. Sempra issued a written statement saying that it is investigating the matter, but that its "employee has denied the speculative media reports."

UPDATE: Jim Miller (R-Corona), the man sitting next to Duvall and heard chuckling on the tape, was removed from the Assembly Ethics Committee.
