BRIEFS

YOU WANT SOMMA DIS?
One of the most popular stories in the Daily Telegraph (UK) is that Obama will not campaign for any Democratic congressmen who fails to support health care reform.

Those who vote against it will do so because their constituents don't want them to. So that means Obama will only raise funds for those who will agree not to vote their constituent interests.

Is this Chicago-style party politicking, or what??
IN IRAN, a 20-year-old student will be executed for -- throwing a stone during a demonstration. Mohammad-Amin Valian was arrested based on photographs of the demonstrations.
MORE ON THE PRIUS CONTROVERSY
Chris Reed at the San Diego Union-Tribune on "A sudden-acceleration angle the media aren't covering." The age, for one. Ted Frank, an attorney who specializes in class action litigation case said this about the 24 cases of sudden acceleration,
The Los Angeles Times recently did a story detailing the NHTSA reports of Toyota "sudden acceleration" fatalities, and, though the Times did not mention it, the ages of the drivers involved were striking.

In the 24 cases where driver age was reported or readily inferred, the drivers included those of the ages 60, 61, 63, 66, 68, 71, 72, 72, 77, 79, 83, 85, 89 -- and I'm leaving out the son whose age wasn't identified, but whose 94-year-old father died as a passenger.
Maybe because the lamebrain media isn't all that interested in facts. Ya think?
