NEA COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR RESIGNS

"This afternoon Yosi Sergant submitted his resignation from the National Endowment for the Arts. His resignation has been accepted and is effective immediately," said a spokeswoman, Sally Gifford, in a statement.

Sergant was caught coordinating a telephone call with artists around the country, urging them to produce propaganda art to support the Obama administration goals. Along with 60 artists, one of whom recorded the teleconference, House Office of Public Engagement and United We Serve were included in the call.

No one admitted wrongdoing, but the White House reportedly issued new guidelines to "prevent politics from mixing with agency business." If you read the transcripts, you know they are aware that what they are doing is illegal.
