HE SHOULD HAVE GOGGLED HER

Cristina Warthen, AKA Christina Schultz, ("Brazil") a 2001 Stanford Law School graduate, was sentenced Monday on a federal tax conviction related to her upscale call-girl business.

The New York Daily News says that her recent divorce from David Warthen – co-founder of online search engine Ask.com (formerly known as AskJeeves) – has left her broke and unemployed. (And owing the IRS $243,000 to the government for unpaid taxes on $133,000 earned in 2003.) As for her husband,
The once-wealthy Web entrepreneur lost his fortune and his wife after the stock market collapsed. According to the report, he filed for divorce this year citing "irreconcilable differences."
He married her in 2004, the same year the government filed an asset forfeiture claim against her for money alleged to come from her, ah, occupation.
