HATE SPEECH UNCONSTITUTIONAL
(SORTA, FOR NOW.)

Sept 2 - "The Canadian Human Rights Tribunal has determined that Canada's much maligned human rights hate speech law, is an unconstitutional violation of the Charter right to free expression because of its penalty provisions." - National Post
---------------------------------------------------------------
Hate speech will still be a crime. Only, the Canadian Human Rights Commission, who define what constitutes a hate crime, will no longer be able to drag people before their Tribunal, where the accused will not be allowed any defense or witnesses, and the Tribunal can fine the miscreant who has no redress or review in any legitimate court of law.

Every major city in the U.S. has a Human Rights Commission that operates as an unelected body whose rulings don't even have to conform to established law. In this way, Liberals push their agenda without ever having to legislate it into existence. They lack the votes but not guile.

For an insight into the extralegal Human Rights Tribunal, read "Shakedown: How Our Government is Undermining Democracy in the Name of Human Rights" By Ezra Levant. (Reviewed and Amazon Paperback release October 27, 2009 for $10.85)
