Corruption? In New Jersey??? Getaddahere

The CW (Cooperating Witness) who helped the Feds nail 2 legislators, the mayors of Hoboken, Secaucus and Ridgefield, 38 others, including 5 rabbis was a major campaign donor, according to this AP story. Not so major to ABC was the political party ID of those arrested. With one exception, they are all Democrats. (ABC has since changed their story after the blog posting to note the fact that all but one were Dems.)

ABC did mention that 130 public officials have pleaded guilty or have been convicted of corruption since 2001. But, alas, no one reminded them that the U.S. Attorney who got those convictions with a 130-0 loss was Chris Christie who is running against governor Jon Corzine, the former Goldmann Sachs Chairman and co-Chairman. Christie is leading in the polls.
