A bundler is defined by OpenSecrets as "people with friends in high places who, after bumping against personal contribution limits, turn to those friends, associates, and, well, anyone who's willing to give, and deliver the checks to the candidate in one big "bundle." This is a list of Barak Obama bundlers.
On Thursday, Hassan Nemazee pleaded guilty in Manhattan federal court to defrauding Bank of America Corp of more than $142 million, Citigroup Inc of $74.9 million and HSBC Holdings Plc of $74.9 million to pay his debt to Citigroup. Nemazee’s brother-in-law, Shahin Kashanchi, is separately charged with aiding and abetting Nemazee’s fraud scheme.
