TODAY

Killing one option for the Democrats: "The Senate parliamentarian has ruled that President Barack Obama must sign Congress’ original health care reform bill before the Senate can act on a companion reconciliation package." (RollCall)

FEELING THE LOVE? Or something else?
Gallup poll doesn't look good for Obama. (Gallup) Drudge headline was "New Low for O" And then there's Gallup found Global Warming Concernsexaggerated. (Gallup)

JUDGE DISMISSES ACORN LAWSUIT
A state court in Baltimore has dismissed ACORN's lawsuit against James O'Keefe, Hannah Giles, and Breitbart.com LLC after the plaintiffs failed to serve the complaint on the defendants within Maryland's 120-day limit. (Copyrights & Campaigns blog)

Because ACORN wanted to miss the deadline. (Patterico's Pontifications blog)

FORMER BALTIMORE MAYOR'S FUR COATS ON EBAY
One was "fashioned from lustrous mink, the other from whorls of sable-colored Persian lamb" and both were gifts to former Mayor Sheila Dixon (Wiki entry) (D) from a developer and then-boyfriend. Both will be sold on eBay along with items Dixon purchased with gift cards donated for the poor. (You can't make this stuff up.) Turned over last month as part of a plea deal to settle criminal cases that led to her resignation.

The plea deal is rough: "Under the plea deal, she retained her $83,000-a-year pension but had to resign from office, perform 500 hours of community service and give up several of the disputed items, including the coats." (Baltimore Sun)
