Murdering little bastards

A judge has ruled that a 12-year-old  Pennsylvania boy will be tried as an adult for the  murder of his father's fiance and her unborn child.  Jordon Brown (left) was 11 at the time. The judge's opinion. PDF

Two 10-year-old boys, Jon Venables and Robert Thompson,  tortured and murdered James Bulger, a 2-year-old boy, in Liverpool, UK.  They were sentenced in 1993 to custody until they reached adulthood. They served 8 years.

In the attack, the toddler suffered ten skull fractures from an iron bar. The two beat and tortured him extensively.  They left his body on a train track hoping to disguise the crime.   His body was cut in half by a train.
Venables was taken into custody in March 2010. Officials refused to say why.   Apparently, they do not want an investigation into the pampered life the two spent in custody and the failure to properly supervise his release. Reportedly, Venables worked as a bouncer in a night club and had a drug problem, and was so lacking in remorse that he gladly told everyone who he was.

The incredibly ugly and childless Children's Commissioner Maggie Atkinson described the toddler’s killing as “unpleasant” and said his killers should never have been prosecuted. She later apologized to James Bulger's mother.
