Mind your own business, Consumer Reports

We cancelled Consumer Reports this morning because they were in the tank for Obamacare. Surprising conversation with the operator. I asked her if she would make a note of the reason. When I told her that it was because Consumer Reports shouldn't be advocating for Obamacare, she surprised me.

She said, "I thought you would say that." And when I asked her if others had cancelled, she said, "Oh, yeah."

My feeling is that we need health care reform, which includes tort reform and a way to keep the uninsured from using emergency rooms as a source of primary care.

The rationale for single payer plans in Tennessee and Massachusetts and the reason put forward by Schwarzenegger is that overuse of emergency room facilities is that such care is the most costly possible and the overuse is making health care costs rise for all of us. Get illegal aliens out of emergency rooms and protect doctors from Democrat-contributers in the legal profession. Illegal aliens should be paying for their own health care and not a subsidized plan where American taxpayers end up footing the bill.
