The Truthers believe that President George W. Bush and the U.S. Government were responsible for the September 11 attacks on the United States, or at the least had foreknowledge and did nothing to try and stop it.

They surely felt no shame in the signature of the bizarre and off the wall Cynthia McKinney or Pentagon Papers leaker Daniel Ellsberg.
Michael Lerner, (#57) now a Rabbi (go figure) was a leader in the Berkeley student movement and the Free Speech Movement, chair of the Free Student Union, and chair from 1966-1968 of the Berkeley chapter of the Students for a Democratic Society. (His "politics of meaning" was an inspiration for Hillary Clinton for her healthcare reform.)
The founder (#21) of the Green Party signed, as did the co-founder of Code Pink and Ralph Nader. Ed Asner (#2) isn't surprising. Chuck Turner (#96), Boston City Councilor, arrested for taking a bribe, an issue not resolved yet. (They have him on videotape. He's also a Greens coalition member.)
A reporter for Berkeley's Free Speech radio (#10) and (#22)a co-author of For the Common Good. "In place of gross national product, they put forth an "index of sustainable economic welfare" as a yardstick of true growth."
Well, you get the picture.
