Who to believe?

Who to believe?

Obama Says Insurers Are Trying to Block Change in a townhall meeting in Montana.

Insurers are not opposed to Obamacare, according to Robert Reich, former Labor Secretary under Bill Clinton. He writes "Although still strongly opposed to a public option, the insurance industry is lining up behind much of the legislation."

Obama didn't mention at all the $150 million advertising pledged by the pharmaceutical industry lobby Pharma (The Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America) to promote Obamacare. (NY Times article.)

Reich finds that appalling and acknowledges that buying off deals with Pharma and the AMA and private insurers will push up long term healthcare costs.
