That tidbit about a specialty few of us knew about appeared in an AP story "Murder suspect raises reality TV questions" about the manhunt for Ryan Alexander Jenkins in connection with the murder of his ex-wife. He married her in March after he appeared as a wealthy bachelor on VH1's "Megan Wants a Millionaire."
The murder was particularly gruesome. The victim had her fingers and teeth forcibly removed. UPDATE: From London Telegraph: She was identified by the serial number in her breast implants.
They think he fled to Canada where he had a criminal record for assault. The production company claims they have a vetting process. VH1 cancelled the show and scrubbed their website of any reference to the show.
But they've used other ex-cons.
It's not the first time an ex-convict has appeared on a VH1 reality show. Andre Birleanu, the feisty Russian-American male model who was the runner-up on "America's Most Smartest Model" in 2007, had been to prison several times on charges including assault, harassment, criminal contempt, criminal mischief and trespassing before appearing on the show.--------------------
Birleanu seems to be a fav among gays judging by search results but the ex-con was into women. At least his arrests indicates his preference.
It was okay, though, because he says he already slept with her. That's what he told the New York Post when they broke the story.
Examiner.com Celebrity Cars Examiner Tom LaPointe wondered, though, about Jenkins' car "$20k range – about the same price as a well-equipped Kia sedan." And Jenkins had small boat.
Dr. Jaimie appears weekly on Lifetime. "He is available for bookings".
