Congressional Scorecard

August 20 Gallup issued new poll results on Congress. Congress’ Job Approval Ratings Grow More Polarized

They found: Most of the Republican-led Congress from 2000 to 2006, Republicans' approval of Congress was substantially higher than Democrats.

Currently disapprove of the job Congress is doing:
Democrats 40% disapprove.
Independents 70% disapprove.
Republicans 82% disapprove.

Those are, in anybody's book, not good numbers. Especially when you consider the media (print and t.v.) are in the tank for you. See: Charlie Cook: Dem situation has 'slipped completely out of control'
